How we started
One of our founders was at a department store testing a designer fragrance he had wanted for a while. The price was steep, and he knew from experience that a scent he loved in the store could smell, or last, completely differently once he got it home.
Being sure takes more than a few minutes at a counter. It takes a few days of wearing it, through your own routine and your own weather. So he asked to buy a small sample to take home. They refused.
He could not find one anywhere else either. A solution that worked for him would work for plenty of other people too. That is how DecantX started: a company built to offer real, authenticated samples priced by what we pay for them, not by how high the industry pushes prices. When we get a good deal, you get it too.
