Acqua di Parma began as a small factory that originated in Parma, Italy. One of the first scents they created was Colonia, a fragrance used for mens handkerchiefs. Colonia was popularized by famous men in film and branded as a luxurious fragrance which led to increased popularity, production and distribution. Throughout the years, the brand would branch out and add other products to their line, which included a home collection for bathrobes, towels, and leather goods.
Acqua di Parma woudl then introduce a new scent called Colonia Assoluta as a fresh take to the classic original Colonia. From there the fragrance line grew with the promise of keeping the Italian spirit and lavish creations alive.
